Where Has All The Magic Gone?

Where Has All The Magic Gone? - by Zac Hinton

I remember a time when my universe was made up of things I didn’t understand.

Lost in wonder, everywhere I looked

There was a sparkle, a glimmer, a tremor from the secrets

Waiting to get out

Waiting to be discovered

A fantasy world behind every corner

A different destiny behind every door.

And in the shadows, where the danger lay

Were dark things, biding their time

Waiting for their moment, when they could strike

Yet you knew, deep inside, that you could take it all

With your magical weapons, and your crystal ball

I remember a time when there was no fear.

Just the deepest desire

to understand it all
