Revolution of Love
Revolution of Love
by Lucy Hinton, 2006
Is this what it all comes down to
…a simple choice?
Sometimes love chooses us
And sweeps us together for a reason
Like ingredients that are meant to mix
and create something irresistibly delicious and new
Sometimes the oldest wise wind sweeps a
Great yet troublesome Good into the land
Knowing the civilised order will be blown apart
The unwritten rules uprooted
And the assumed script rewritten
by the Revolution that is Love
And is Love itself not the expression
of God’s wildest inspiration
The revolutionary force
That tears apart the dominion of urbane minds
Proving the existence of Divine Mystery every day
Yes God winks with delight
in the Heart of the Lover
And in the eye of the Perfect Storm
